FaZe beat EnVyUs 16-1 on Cache to pick up their first victory at DreamHack Masters Marseille, while mousesports have defeated Valiance 16-13 on Mirage.
Starting out as Counter-Terrorists on Cache, FaZe picked up a quick 3-0 lead after securing a flawless CT pistol. Envy responded well in the first gun round, but Finn "karrigan" Andersen's men immediately reset the Frenchmen's economy and further added to their lead.
Down 1-8, Vincent "Happy" Schopenhauer called for a tactical pause, but it was not enough for them to find a way to break through FaZe's defence. Envy looked set to win their second round after Ali "hAdji" Haïnouss had found three opponents in the 13th round, but Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács crushed their hopes with a 1v3 clutch.
